I am a musician (flute) and composer, writing for small
ensembles and concert band. My music encompasses a range
of styles, from classical to light jazz to marches to novelty
pieces.
I am also politically active on a wide range of progressive causes, primarily opposing corporate power over our government.
Professionally,
I am a retired multi-talented scientist, engineer, and computer software
professional. I have a Master's degree in Applied
Physics and have worked in a wide range of professions including:
combustion research, lighting development, spectroscopic
analysis, scientific software development, and software
technical support.
